Stainless Steel Fiber Fila for Heatable Textiles
3ltex offers 2 products ranges for heatable Textiles.
They share however one common property: they have a higher flex-life than standard Cu-cables used in the market.
Stainless Steel Fiber fila is a stainless steel fiber based bundle where the diameter of each individual fiber is 8µ ~ 14µ .
The amount of fibers ranges typically from around 200 to over 1500 filaments. This gives you a durability which is by far ‘best in class’.
Because of the fine fibers used, these cables still remain thin in overall diameter and thus very flexible in processing.

3ltex covers a wider range of lower resistance steel cables.
Depending on the alloy, we use today 3 types of alloys which are represented as stainless steel fila, metallized textile core Wire and Copper Alloy. With these base filaments, we can make whatever cable you need. The main difference between these families is the resistance per meter which gives you more flexibility in design and still offers a better flex-life than typical Cu-cables.

Finishing & coating
In your world, there is mostly need for individual lacquering of the filaments or an overall extrusion coating over the complete cable. We can also do that. Only exception is the coating of the individual fiber used for the 3ltex- cables where the diameter is too small for individual lacquering.
Insolated Jacket material Characters:
Coating material: PTFE, FEP, PFA, TPEE and other mateiral as per customers’ request.
·Teflon PTFE:PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) non-stick coating can be used continuously at 260°C, with a high use temperature of 290-300°C, extremely low friction coefficient, good wear resistance and excellent chemical stability.
·Teflon FEP: FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene copolymer) non-stick coating melts and flows during baking to form a non-porous film, with excellent chemical stability, excellent non-stick properties, and a maximum use temperature of 200°C.
·Teflon PFA: PFA (perfluoroalkyl compound) non-stick coating melts and flows during baking to form a non-porous film like FEP. The advantage of PFA is that it has a higher continuous use temperature of 260°C and stronger toughness, and is particularly suitable for use in anti-stick and chemical resistance fields under high temperature conditions.
·Teflon TPEE: TPEE is a high performance engineering grade elastee, with high mechanical strength, good elasticity, impact resistance, creep resistance, cold resistance, bending fatigue resistance, oil resistance, chemical and solvent resistance and other advantages, has good processability, and can be filled, strengthened and alloying modification. It is widely used in auto parts, hydraulic hoses, cables and wires, electronic appliances, industrial products, stationery, biological materials and other fields.
